Ingredients
  • 1 premade refrigerated pie crust, unbaked
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 6oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 jalapeño, seeds removed and diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup crumbled bacon
  • 1 jalapeno, sliced in rounds
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and fit pie dough into pie dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, and soften cream cheese until well combined (some small chunks of cream cheese are ok).
  3. Mix in the diced jalapenos, cheese, bacon, and salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Transfer the egg mixture into the pie crust and top with the jalapeno slices.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the middle has set and no longer jiggles.
A brunch dish with a spicy twist!
