Ingredients
  • 12 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, cubed and softened
  • 1 (8 oz) carton French onion dip
  • Paprika, for garnish
Preparation
  1. Place potatoes in a large pot and cover with salted cold water by 1 inch. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and cook until tender, 15-20 minutes. Drain.
  2. Mash potatoes until no lumps remain. Stir in butter, milk, salt, and pepper, until smooth. Add cream cheese and onion dip and mix well.
  3. Transfer potatoes to a greased 2 1/2 qt baking dish. Sprinkle with paprika. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 8 hours and up to overnight.
  4. When ready to bake, preheat oven to 350°F. Remove potatoes from refrigerator 30 minutes prior to baking.
  5. Uncover and bake until heated through, 50-60 minutes. Enjoy!
