Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 medium overripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/4 cup plain or vanilla yogurt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan with butter or nonstick spray.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugars with an electric mixer until well combined.
  3. Add egg, vanilla, banana, and yogurt and mix again.
  4. Add flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt and stir to combine. Pour mixture into prepared loaf pan.
  5. Sprinkle top with chocolate chips and gently press down into the batter.
  6. Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 70 minutes. Let cool completely before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
Just as easy as basic banana bread, but so chocolatey!
