Creamy Cafeteria Noodles

Ingredients

  • 4 cups chicken stock
  • 1 tablespoon Better than Bouillon
  • 1 (10 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 lb egg noodles
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) salted butter
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Preparation

  1. Add broth and Better than Bouillon to a large pot and set over high heat. Bring to a boil.
  2. Stir cream of chicken soup and noodles and bring back to a boil. Let boil 2 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat, stir in butter, then cover pot. Let sit 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until noodles have absorbed most of the liquid.
  4. Season to taste with black pepper. (It likely won't need any more salt.)
  5. Serve and enjoy!
