Ingredients
  • 2-3 sleeves saltine crackers
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 cup butter (2 sticks)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 (12 oz) bag white chocolate chips
Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and line a large baking sheet with foil or parchment paper. Arrange saltines in an even layer, covering the whole sheet.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together granulated sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt the butter and then add the brown sugar. Cook over medium heat until sugar is fully dissolved and the mixture starts to bubble.
  4. Once bubbling, cook for an additional 2 minutes then immediately pour the sauce over the crackers. Use a spatula to evenly distribute the sauce if needed.
  5. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 5-7 minutes or until sauce is bubbling and darkening in color.
  6. Remove sheet from oven and immediately sprinkle white chocolate chips on top. Allow chips to melt for about 5 minutes, then use a spatula to spread the melted chocolate into an even layer.
  7. Working quickly, sprinkle cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the chocolate before it solidifies.
  8. Allow candy to fully cool for about 30-60 minutes before breaking into bite-sized pieces.
  9. Store in an airtight container to keep fresh.
