Ingredients
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 (8 oz) cans refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 3 cups shredded lettuce
  • 2 Roma tomatoes, diced
  • Dill pickle slices to taste
Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 350˚F. Heat oil over medium high heat. Add onions and cook for 8 minutes. Add beef, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cook until beef is no longer pink, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in ketchup, mustard, and cheese.
  3. Unroll crescent rolls and place on pizza or baking sheet in a circle with wider end of each roll in the center of the pan and the smaller end facing out. Make sure each piece overlaps slightly.
  4. Place some filling in each roll and roll up small end into larger end. Bake for 20 minutes or until top of ring is golden brown.
  5. Serve with lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles in center of ring. Slice along crescent rolls to serve.
