Ingredients
  • 2 stone fire flatbreads
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 6 slices American cheese
  • 2 Roma tomatoes, ½’ thick sliced
  • 2 pickles, sliced very thin
  • 1 lb. whole milk mozzarella, freshly grated
  • Ketchup and mustard, for drizzling
  • Garlic aioli & baby arugula, for garnishing
Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375° F and prepare two parchment-lined sheet trays.
  2. Brush melted butter around the edges of the premade flatbreads and sprinkle the sesame seeds around the edges on the prepared sheet trays. Par-bake for 10 minutes.
  3. Preheat a saute pan over medium-high heat, then add ground beef to the pan to brown. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. When the beef is browned, drain the beef and add back to the pan with sliced American cheese.
  5. Assembly flatbreads with a zigzag drizzle of ketchup in the center of each flatbread, followed by mustard. Top with mozzarella cheese, then ground beef, red onion, and sliced tomato.
  6. Bake flatbread in the oven for 12 - 15 minutes or until cheese is bubble and crusts are deeply golden.
  7. Finish your flatbread with garlic aioli and sliced pickles. Slice and enjoy!
