Ingredients
  • 1 box white cake mix, plus ingredients called for on the box
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups mascarpone cheese
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting
Preparation
  1. Bake cake according to the directions on the box for a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. Once baked, poke holes all over cake using the handle of a wooden spoon.
  3. Set aside 1/2 cup of the sweetened condensed milk, then pour the rest over the cake. Chill cake for 1 hour.
  4. Once chilled, make the topping:
  5. In a large bowl, combine the ricotta, mascarpone, and vanilla and mix until smooth. Add the powdered sugar and again, mix until combined.
  6. Add remaining sweetened condensed milk and mix once more.
  7. Spread topping evenly over cake.
  8. Top with chocolate chips and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  9. Cover and let chill 2-3 hours. Serve and enjoy!
