Ingredients
  • 1 lb. Thick-cut bacon
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Calabrian chili paste (optional)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350° F and prepare a parchment lined sheet tray with a wire rack.
  2. Layout bacon slices evenly over a wire rack lined sheet tray.
  3. In a small bowl, combine dijon, maple syrup, and chili paste. Using a brush, brush each strip of bacon with a layer of sauce.
  4. Sprinkle each strip of bacon lightly with brown sugar and evenly pat brown sugar into bacon.
  5. Bake for 25 - 30 minutes, rotating the pan halfway to ensure even browning. Enjoy!
