Ingredients
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup butter, melted
Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease 2 1-pound loaf pans with butter.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together brown sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, beat eggs, milk, vanilla, and melted butter with an electric mixer until well combined. Gradually add dry ingredients and mix until just moist.
  4. Pour batter into prepared pans, batter should come to an inch below top.
  5. Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 40-50 minutes.
