Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 bananas, sliced
  • 1/2 cup toasted pecans, chopped
Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 350˚F. Grease a 9”x5” loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl cream together butter and sugar using an electric mixer. Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each one.
  3. In a separate bowl combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Stir in bananas and pecans.
  4. Pour batter into loaf pan and bake on center rack for 60 minutes or until knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
One special ingredient makes this banana bread better than the rest.
