Ingredients
  • 1 cup Amish Friendship Bread starter
  • 2 cups flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 cup sugar, divided
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon, divided
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 small box vanilla instant pudding
Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 325°F and lightly grease 2 9x5-inch loaf pans with non stick spray.
  2. Mix together 1/2 cup of the sugar and 1 teaspoon of the cinnamon and dust the greased pans with half of cinnamon/sugar mixture. Set remaining cinnamon mixture aside.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients except reserved cinnamon/sugar mixture, and mix well.
  4. Pour batter evenly into prepared loaf pans. Sprinkle remaining cinnamon/sugar mixture over the top.
  5. Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 1 hour.
  6. Cool 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy!
