Rhubarb cake
Ingredients
- 1½ C BR SUGAR
- ½ C BUTTER
- ½ TSP SALT
- 1 TSP VANILLA
- 1 C BUTTERMILK OR SOUR MILK
- 1 TSP BAKING SODA
- LEGG
- 2 C FLOUR
- 1½ C RHUBARB
- BLEND SUGAR, BUTTER, SALT, VANILLA. ADD EGG AND
- BAKING SODA, THEN ALTERNATE MILK AND FLOUR TILL
- BLENDED, MIX IN RHUBARB.
- GREASE 8 BY 10 SQUARE PAN. FILL WITH CAKE BATTER.
- SPRINKLE 1 TBS CINNAMON MIXED WITH 1/3 CUP BROWN
- SUGAR OVER TOP OF CAKE BEFORE BAKING.
Directions
- Bake in oven at 350 for 50-60 min
