Rhubarb cake

Ingredients
  • 1½ C BR SUGAR
  • ½ C BUTTER
  • ½ TSP SALT
  • 1 TSP VANILLA
  • 1 C BUTTERMILK OR SOUR MILK
  • 1 TSP BAKING SODA
  • LEGG
  • 2 C FLOUR
  • 1½ C RHUBARB
  • BLEND SUGAR, BUTTER, SALT, VANILLA. ADD EGG AND
  • BAKING SODA, THEN ALTERNATE MILK AND FLOUR TILL
  • BLENDED, MIX IN RHUBARB.
  • GREASE 8 BY 10 SQUARE PAN. FILL WITH CAKE BATTER.
  • SPRINKLE 1 TBS CINNAMON MIXED WITH 1/3 CUP BROWN
  • SUGAR OVER TOP OF CAKE BEFORE BAKING.
Directions
  1. Bake in oven at 350 for 50-60 min
