- 3 pounds chicken breasts, cut in bite sized pieces
- 1 bottle Herdez avocado salsa
- 1 - 7 ounce can diced green chilies
- 2 cups sour cream
- 2 cups chicken stock or broth
- 2 cups Mexican cheese blend
- 1 tsp. dried basil
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Place chicken in crockpot, add salsa, green chilies, chicken stock, salt and pepper, basil and oregano. Cook on high for 4 hours.
- Add cheese and sour cream.
- Mix well.
- Serve over rice.
