Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

While every cake is worthy of our love and desire, we are going to let you in on a little secret here: All cakes are not created equally. Vanilla is wonderful and chocolate is grand. However, Funfetti is in a completely different league. Whenever we see new Funfetti items at the local grocery store, we pounce on them with speed and precision. You just never know how long they are going to be available!

Pillsbury Baking has now decided to up the ante and release a new Blondie mix. For those who are unfamiliar, the blondie is the brownie’s vanilla-flavored sister. If you are looking for a treat that is less rich and more like a cake, the blondie is the way to go.

I am two days away from summer and I'm celebrating early (my husband calls this an early cele and says it's a bad idea but I disagree!) Funfetti Blondies are the perfect way to celebrate summer or Wednesday! When you purchase this new Funfetti mix, you’ll receive the dry ingredients that are necessary for this process, along with chocolate, candy-coated candies. They can be incorporated into the mix or sprinkled on top once the blondies have cooked.

They end up tasting an awful lot like the Cosmic Brownie. Just imagine a vanilla version of these delectable treats and you will see exactly what we are talking about.

Since so many of us are stuck in the house with nothing to do, this is the perfect chance to whip up a batch of goodies to help pass the time. While this mix is only available at Food Lion, Menards, and Publix at the moment, it is slated to hit other grocery stores once September rolls around.
