For more than 50 years, the lovable Peanuts characters have been visiting our homes with a variety of holiday specials.

We have seen them on Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Halloween for decades. This season, we will also be seeing them for New Year’s Eve.

An announcement from AppleTV+ says we can be looking forward to “Snoopy Presents: For Auld Lang Syne,” and we can hardly wait. It is a special that is created specifically for the streaming service.

It seems as if Lucy was disappointed over Christmas because her grandmother couldn’t come for a visit. She decides to throw the greatest New Year’s Eve party that has ever occurred for the gang.

On the other hand, Charlie Brown is trying to accomplish one of the resolutions that he made before midnight strikes. It’s a situation we have all been in, I’m sure!

Back in 2020, Apple TV+ managed to get the rights to all of the Peanuts specials. Many people were used to seeing them every year for free on network TV, but there was a year when you had to pay for the streaming service.

Fans were outraged, so PBS decided that the specials would air a single time during the holiday season on their network.
