Kitchen hacks are a great way to save time and effort during the cooking and/or eating processes. That’s why so many of us go crazy for these videos when we come across them. TikTok user Brittany Roper is the one who is here to share her secrets with us and we are ever so grateful. Just wait until you see what she has come up with.

Those who have toddlers at home are sure to love this one. Brittany is showing us how she prepares oranges for her little one and the results are every bit as awesome as you would expect.

The best part of all is that her preparation hack cuts down on the amount of time needed significantly and is also great for reducing the amount of mess that is made.

In the video that you are about to see, Brittany is seen grabbing a “cutie” (also known as a Mandarin orange). From there, she slices the fruit in half. She turns the orange onto its side to do as well. Once the orange has been halved, she gives it a push from underneath. This turns the orange inside out. Now, each segment is incredibly easy to pick out!

Cuties can also be referred to as clementines, in case anyone was wondering about similarities that they had noticed. When the commentators were quick to tell her that this was not actually the traditional orange that they are accustomed to, she took to the comment section to offer up a rapid response.

“I am aware this isn’t an actual orange. We call them cuties here in Texas. Forgive me for not getting the proper name right,” she says. Whether you are slicing up oranges or slicing up cuties, you are sure to love this one. Our lives are certainly never going to be the same after learning about this one but we mean that in the best way possible.

We were today years old when we learned about this hack and we are sure that the little ones are going to love it. It is a godsend for parents out there, especially those who are looking for ways to get their kids to eat more fruits.
