Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

When it comes to Halloween trick or treating, everyone has their own different game plans. But the end goal for everyone is to walk away with as much candy as possible.

Of course, it doesn’t hurt to be able to make it as scenic a route as possible in order to take in all the spooktacular decor amongst houses.

However, finding the right route to take can take a little bit of detective work. The last thing anyone wants is to end up on a desolate stretch of neighborhood where no one seems to be getting into the candy-giving spirit. That is always a disappointment.

If you’re worried about finding a killer route for trick or treating this year, fear not. Nextdoor has got you covered! They are coming out with their annual Treat Map, which happens to be sponsored by Reeses.

In order to be able to access the Treat Map, all you need to do is sign up for a free account with Nextdoor. Once completed, you can log in either through the app or a web browser in order to look at the “Treat Map.”

Once you’ve chosen the map you can see everyone in your neighborhood or surrounding area who has also signed up as either “giving out treats” or “decorating,” or the ones who are participating in both!

It is a great way to figure out where to go for candy or decorated houses – two musts on the spookiest night of the year. Of course, if you’re checking it right now it still might be too early to see all potential routes, etc.

It definitely will be a handy little app to have come the eve of Halloween when you’re looking to see what the best candy-filled routes will be!
