Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

There are so many random days that we have to remember, it is hilarious. It feels like every day is some sort of holiday that we either never knew about or considered, so it makes perfect sense that there would be a National Mustard Day.

National Mustard Day falls on August 7th each year, and now, thanks to French’s, we have the perfect food to celebrate with: mustard-flavored hot dog buns.

There’s something timeless about the mustard and hot dog combo, and French’s recognized that. In partnership with Plantedosi Bakery, they created the bun infused with mustard. To top things off, it’s yellow in color.

It is sure to bring a whole new flavor experience to the table!

These savory buns come with the traditional French’s mustard baked right into them, so you know that they are good.

In the brand’s own words: “Yup, we actually mixed our tangy Classic Yellow® right into the dough. The result? The brightest buns your ‘buds will ever taste.”

As it turns out, they have already made their debut in the United States. New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Baltimore had their rollouts on the 7th. On the 14th, Boston is slated to follow suit. The Best Sausage Company will be offering them up at 12 PM, right outside of Fenway Park.
