Now that grilling season is upon us, it is time to find out more about all of the favorite dishes. It also happens to be National BBQ Month.

There are so many options to grill, like chicken wings, veggies, brisket, sausage, tofu, and more. While most people would probably agree that grilling is a favorite pastime, you can’t expect people to be in total agreement on how to go about grilling specifically.

For those who are unaware, there are “Big 5” BBQ styles that people have to choose from. They are as follows: Texas style, Kansas City style, Memphis style, North Carolina style, and South Carolina style. All of these regional methods come with their own pros and cons.

It all depends on how you like your BBQ prepared and this definitely varies from person to person. While there are some who are from the school of “slow and low,” there are others who would much rather fire up the grill at full power right away. As the old saying goes, there are different strokes for different folks.

BBQ Revolutions decided to see which states prefer which grilling method and they created a map of their findings.
