This is the story of a Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan home that has a very unique connection to the classic Monty Python films of old.

In fact, Liz Koto and her family have now made a declaration that is sure to have readers laughing. This home is now known as “The Jurisdiction of The Ministry of Silly Walks” and you won’t be able to stop chuckling at what they have been able to compile.

There are entry and exit signs that indicate when it is time for the silly walks to take place, which makes it easy for people to know when it is time to spring into action.

The signs require those who pass by the house to break out their silliest walk. Liz captures these moments with her doorbell camera and they are posted on Instagram.

Of course, these amazing sight gags are all inspired by none other than the classic 1970 sketch on Monty Python’s Flying Circus.

When Liz was interviewed by local news station WXYZ, she said that she simply wanted to give her neighbors the chance to let loose for a moment or two.

We could all use a chance to blow off steam at the moment, that is for sure. Her neighbors certainly appreciate it, judging from the results that these signs have produced.

“The reactions have been so uplifting, so joyful and so happy,” Liz said to the outlet. We could not agree more. There is no arguing with these hilarious clips.

“The Ministry would like citizens throughout the world to open branch offices in their neighborhood. We are providing starter kits complete with an electronic file. And well, that’s all because The Department of Defense received more funding than The Ministry last year,” she said on the Yorkshire Silly Walks page.

Thanks to thoughtful people like Liz, we are able to enjoy a good laugh and we hope that more people are willing to open those branch offices. These residents aren’t the only ones who should be having all of the fun.
