Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

When the movie “Mean Girls” came out in 2004 it was an instant classic. And 16 years later, we are still quoting some of the movie’s most memorable lines. And I’m not ashamed to say it, but it’s still one of my favorite movies ever. So if you’re like me, you’ll be happy to know that there is a new “Mean Girls” inspired breakfast treat brought to us by Pillsbury. And if you’re a big “Mean Girls” fan you’ve probably already guessed that it’s Toaster Strudels!

Further sticking to the “Mean Girls” theme, the two limited edition cream cheese strawberry and strawberry flavors of Toaster Strudels will be accompanied by pink frosting. But don’t worry, you can still eat them without it necessarily having to be a Wednesday – we won’t tell Regina George.

Further adding to the sweetness of the entire thing is the fact that the original movie will be free to stream with a code which will be available on specially-marked boxes. We can’t think of a more appropriate snack to be eating while watching the cult classic…except for maybe Taco Bell or cheese fries.

But there is even more! You’re also able to enter the Fetch Sweepstakes. The prize? A personalized video from Gretchen Wieners herself, Lacey Chabert! The tweet issued by the official Toaster Strudel Twitter account stated an entry to the sweepstakes requires a “photo of your most fetch pink icing design and post it with #FetchSweepstakes,” but the entire rules for the sweepstakes can be found here.

Fans of “Mean Girls” are absolutely loving the idea of a Toaster Strudel collaboration, with many sharing their thoughts on social media. One fan, Dani Hannah-Brown, wrote on Facebook, “Whomever came up with this idea is genius. Should’ve did it years ago, but still. You go Gretchen Wieners!”

“I don't think my father, the inventor of Toaster Strudel, would be too pleased to hear about this.”😂😂 Whomever came up with this idea is genius. Should’ve did it years ago, but still. You go Gretchen Wieners!

Another Twitter user, @energist, commented, “Oh my god they’re making Mean Girls Toaster Strudel and they come with pink frosting and I’ve never needed anything more.” We’re right there with you – after all, it’s about time someone made fetch happen.

So, if you want to get these Toaster Strudels then you may want to get to the frozen section of your grocery store as soon as possible since they’re a limited-edition product!
