Summertime is the perfect moment to crack open a chilled bottle of wine that pairs with your meal of choice. Mary J. Blige has launched pre-orders for her new Sun Goddess wine with the help of Fantinel Winery and it’s perfect for that summer bottle.
The famous Italian winery has collaborated with the songstress to create a wine that is sure to entice. Sun Goddess has been in the making for three years, it’s not a simple vanity project. Mary J. knows her wine! If you head to wine.com right now, you can place your order in New York or New Jersey. The worldwide rollout is not going to be taking place until August.
The Sun Goddess name is derived from a nickname that Mary got from her mother when she was just a little girl. “Sun Goddess struck me as the perfect name as it conveys the connection between nature and the personality of wines I enjoy the most,” says Blige.
The collection includes a sauvignon blanc or pinot grigio ramato. The latter is similar to rosé, while the sauvignon blanc has spicy and tropical notes. These bottles cost $19.99 each.
This launch is one of the many things that we have to look forward to this summer. After all, what goes better with quarantine than a glass of the finest?
