Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

Joanna Gaines is on hand to make sure that we are able to pass the time during the quarantine period. Whether you are someone who is spending time with your partner, your children, or a combination of both, she has got you covered. She is housebound like the rest of us in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. In order to remain safe and keep the positive vibes going, she’s been active on social media.

Gaines has been posting new activities and challenges, in hopes of helping her followers keep the quarantine blues at bay. They act as “mini” cooking show episodes and have so far covered both chocolate chip cookies and chili. They’ve been filmed by her son and daughter, Drake and Ella.

I've noticed our kids quietly processing all that's going on and wanted to make sure they knew they could process and express their concerns, questions and even fears in whatever form they were comfortable with. For my sweet Ella, she wanted to write down the questions she's currently wrestling with and interview me. Here at @magnolia we want to hear what your kids’ thoughts and questions are so set up the camera and interview away—tag @magnolia and #webelieveinhome. I also wanted to provide another quick & simple family favorite recipe from #MagnoliaTableCookbook ❤️ (full recipe on my Insta story)

From the looks of it, it won’t be long before these kids are ready to follow in the footsteps of their parents. If you would like to find out more about Joanna Gaines’ recipes, you will want to head to her Instagram page as soon as possible. She is one of our favorite follows and we do not know what we would be doing with all of her awesome posts.

Celebrities have no obligation to assist us during the quarantine period but so many have chosen to step up to the plate anyway. Whether they are offering free entertainment or timely donations, we appreciate all of the help that they have provided. Joanna Gaines does not have to teach us all of her awesome ways but she has done so regardless.

With life looking quite a bit different than we’re all used to, our @magnolia family is looking for ways to focus on how we can make the most of our time spent at home, because honestly there's no better place to be right now – and in the midst of all that's going on, we believe that there is room for connection, creativity, laughter, and inspiration. ⠀ ⠀ So here’s what we’re gonna do: for the next few days, we’re going to share a new challenge and/or activity that we can all get in on together and share. To kick it off, Drake has filmed us making the chocolate chip cookie recipe from the first cookbook. ⠀ ⠀ Now it’s your turn! I want to see what you're cooking at home – just post on your account or in your stories and tag @magnolia and #webelieveinhome

The hilarious moments in these clips are just making us miss Fixer Upper even more than we already do. The Gaines’ network premiere is just around the corner and we can hardly wait. Her recipes are incredibly easy to copy and they are even easier to share with your friends and loved ones. This is the sort of delicious kitchen inspiration that is not always easy to come by.
