When it comes to working in the kitchen, all of us have our own, unique style. From how dark we like our toast to how we flip a pancake, there are really no rules. Then again, there are times when things have rules by design and we don’t even know it.
Consider the way that you remove eggs from an egg carton. Do you start in the middle and work in both directions? Perhaps you always work right to left or left to right. Does this fall under the “no rules” category? Not if Twitter has anything to say about it!
Brian Faughnan got the ball started when he posted a question on Twitter. That simple question sparked a debate that is leaving many people questioning how they handle eggs in a refrigerator.

Left to right, then I break off left half the carton when left side is empty.

I make a pattern so the weight is evenly distributed: first row top, last row bottom, second row bottom, etc. Yes, my OCD is real.

Neither. You remove them from the carton and place them in the egg container that came with the fridge. They are more secure there, it is what it was designed for, and more importantly you can re-inspect each egg (you did that at the grocery store first) to make sure it wasn't /1
