You don’t have to be older to remember the movie Home Alone. It just seems as if it is one of those movies that is shown time after time and it only gets better every time you see it. If you happen to be a fan, then you will love knowing there is a reboot coming.

Disney+ has just released the first trailer for the Home Sweet Home Alone movie. It is sure to be an interesting show, but it doesn’t appear as if it is connected with the movie that starred Macaulay Culkin.

It does, however, star Archie Yates, who is going to play 10-year-old Max Mercer.

The show is going to hit on some of the high notes of the original movie. The family is flying to Tokyo for the holidays when Max is separated from the group and left behind.

At first, it seems as if he is perfectly happy to have the home to himself because he can live life on his own terms.

That is when two robbers decide to break in during the holidays and now it is up to him to protect the home. He’s sure to do a good job and just like the original movie, he will set up a plan that is going to foil the would-be home invaders, played by Ellie Kemper and Rob Delaney.

Many people are happy with the reboot but there are some who are already complaining about it on social media. They feel as if it is unnecessary to remake the movie and not enough years have passed (about three decades) to make a reboot necessary.
