Hiland Dairy has announced a recall of their half pint 1% low fat chocolate milk because some of the products may contain food-grade sanitizers, which could cause illness if consumed. This applies only to milk that was produced at the Norman, Oklahoma facility and doesn’t extend to any of Hiland Dairy’s other products.

While only eight cases were affected, Hiland Dairy is recalling all of the product with the 1/27 code out of an abundance of caution. 4800 cases were distributed with the affected codes for a total of 240,000 units to be recalled.

The affected products were sold and distributed to customers in the following areas:

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Metro Area
Western Oklahoma
Dallas, Texas
San Antonio, Texas
