At first glance the Happier Camper doesn’t look like anything special apart from being a cute little retro-esque style trailer. You’d assume that there is nothing more to it than being a place to sleep while on the go. But that is where you are very wrong. The trailer is actually quite modern – so much so that it’s a little hub of innovation. It comes wired with everything from solar power paneling to a built-in Bluetooth sound system.
However, one of the trailer’s coolest features is that it can be transformed into more than 100 different styles – all thanks to its Adaptiv modular interior system. The camper’s floor has grooves – just like Legos – where you can snap add-ons and they connect to build larger things.
Some of the available components include bench cubes, cushions, a countertop, floor panels, as well as a deluxe kitchenette with a sink, pull-out fridge, and stove. The trailer can go from being completely empty in case you need to haul large items, to a sleeping camper that can easily accommodate a family of five, to a commercial vending counter!

The camper is 70 square feet in size and is comprised of fiberglass – which makes it very light but durable. The entire trailer weighs in at 1,100 pounds and can be easily towed by most small cars. You can even choose from a variety of colors which include blue, turquoise, and red.
The price of the base model starts at $15,950. However, they do offer basic, full and premium packages, all of which run between $16,000 and $24,000, depending on which add-ons you might want. Among the available accessories to choose from, you can add a lightweight air conditioner for $1,500, a dry flush toilet for $595, or a 14-inch ceiling fan for $275.
The company is based out of Los Angeles. So unless you’re local, customers can choose to either pick up their campers in person or have them shipped to their home. The shipping costs an additional $500 to $2,000, depending on the shipping location.
