Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

Although there are many trends that we may take advantage of throughout the year, those involving the holidays are often the most special to us. There is something about pulling the decorations out of storage every year that sets us on a nostalgic path, and that is true of the Christmas tree for many. It seems as if this year, a holiday trend is to have 1/2 Christmas tree, which is such a great idea.

The half Christmas tree is exactly what you would think it was, it’s a tree with branches on one side. When you put it up against the wall or in the corner of the room, it gives the appearance of having a full and beautiful tree without having it intrude too far into the room. In addition, you don’t have to worry about decorating the back of the tree that is hidden from the public anyway.

The half Christmas tree is more than an interesting trend, it is also convenient. There are pre-strung LED lights that come with it and you can even choose white or multicolor to add to the festivities.

If you have limited space in your home, you may want to turn to Hammacher Schlemmer to order 1/2 Christmas tree that can go against a flat wall.
