While I do love freshly prepared waffles, most mornings I don’t have the time or energy to make them from scratch. That’s where frozen waffles come in handy. Typically, you cook frozen waffles in the microwave or toaster, but what if I told you there were several other ways to prepare your frozen breakfast? These waffle hacks will take your waffle game to a whole new level!

The first hack on this list is the easiest. Instead of microwaving your frozen waffles or cooking them in a toaster, simply heat them up in a skillet. Sprinkle a bit of cinnamon on one side while the other side cooks, then flip the waffle and sprinkle cinnamon on the other side. It’s so simple, and yet really makes a huge difference!

Now we’re talking. If you have a little extra time on your hands, this next waffle hack will truly blow your mind. Preheat the oven to 375, then place your waffles in the toaster just long enough to thaw them out. Place your waffles on a baking sheet and top half of them with scrambled eggs, crumbled bacon or sausage bits, cheese, and any other toppings you want! Then, bake for a few minutes until the waffles are slightly crisp and the cheese is melted. Assemble your waffle sandwich and enjoy!

This is such a great idea! Start by thawing out the waffles in the microwave one at a time – only about 15-20 seconds until they are soft. Then, grease a muffin tin and press a waffle into each of the cups so it forms a bowl. Fill each one with either yogurt or ice cream, then freeze for 2 hours. Top with fruit, chocolate syrup, and any other goodies you can think of!
