Fisher-Price has been a favorite toy company of many people over the years. It also seems as if they have the ability to offend, thanks to a new charcuterie board playset for preschoolers, Snacks for Two.
You can buy the 17 piece kit on Amazon for $14. It includes everything you need to get started, fake cheese, grapes, salami and crackers; fabric napkins preprinted with adorable mottos, faux-marble plates, a wood-accented cutting board and a tiny toy knife.
The Fisher-Price toy can entertain children and help them develop skills. Sophisticated children can squish the cheese, slice the salami with a toy knife and pull grapes from the stems.
It seems as if this is just too much for some people to handle. The toy, made for ages 3 and up, along with the advertisement has sparked a firestorm of controversy online. People are now calling it ‘snooty’.
“This is the most bougie toy I’ve ever seen,” writes one disturbed Twitter user.
