Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

Trying to keep the old piece of paper with your grandma’s pasta sauce recipe can be super hard to do. You could type it out or take a picture of it, but it doesn’t seem to have the same effect.

Luckily, some crafters have come up with some creative ways to transform family recipes into keepsakes that make great gifts.

According to SimpleMost, Etsy shop LaserFocusedCrafts will engrave your grandma’s recipe onto a bamboo, cherry, or maple cutting board. Prices range from $30 to $75 depending on the size of the board you purchase.

Another Etsy store called EmmaAndTheBeanHOME will have your family’s recipe put onto a white tea towel from $24. Esty store BmoreCreative410 will put it on a potholder for $25.

More options include putting the recipe on an apron or even a plate!

No matter how you decide to save your family’s recipes, make sure to keep it alive and cook it with your loved ones.
