When Doritos drops new flavors, we are always going to sit up and take notice. That is especially true of these soon-to-be-released flavors, which will be arriving just in time for your end-of-summer cookouts.

The two new flavors that we will be crunching on before long? Spicy Mustard and Classic Ketchup! To this, we have just one question: What took Doritos so long?

The Classic Ketchup flavor has a sweet and tangy taste to it, while the Spicy Mustard has a bit more of a kick.

In fact, the Spicy Mustard flavor is said to be inspired by the hot mustard that the Chinese use, not the American condiment. Of course, there is one catch that we have to mention before we are able to continue. These chips are only going to be made available on Snacks.com.

This e-commerce website is a one-stop shop for all sorts of chips, cereals, dips, and other unique snacking options. Those who follow Doritos on social media were given a quick heads up about the release of these snacks and we hope that they are taking this opportunity to pounce before it is too late.

“We better start seeing some hotdogs with Doritos on them now that these are out on Snacks.com,” the company stated on Twitter when they made the initial announcement.

So how was the big news received when it was shared on social media? As you might have expected, people are definitely divided on these chip flavors and the opinions happen to be quite varied.

“[Y’all] should’ve made barbecue but instead y’all made ketchup and mustard,” said one complainer. However, there was another commentator who had a comment that we totally agree with. “Now we just need doritos that taste like hotdogs,” they said. Now, this is a flavor that we can absolutely get on board with and we hope that Doritos is reading all of these comments.

If you want to get your hands on these bad boys, you are going to want to act quickly. They are only going to be available for a limited time only. Who knows, though? Perhaps they will become so popular that Doritos will have no choice but to add them to the permanent roster.
