Household chores can be annoying at times. We love to keep our houses clean but what happens when you reach that one chore that you don’t want to do? We all have one, let’s be honest. For me, I always put off cleaning the shower. No one wants to get down on their hands and knees to scrub the walls and base of a shower, right?
Thankfully, YouTuber Katie Sottile released a cleaning hack that makes for super easy shower cleaning. If you would like to utilize this hack in your own home, there are just a few simple ingredients that can be found at the Dollar Tree. However, some of these ingredients may be in your home already, so there’s a good chance that you won’t need to take a trip to the grocery store.
All you need to create a DIY Magic Shower Cleaner is distilled vinegar, liquid dish soap, and one of the scrub brushes that comes with the built in soap dispenser.
To make the shower cleaner, grab the dish soap and vinegar and pour them into the soap dispenser. Then. get to scrubbing!
The dish soap and vinegar combine to create some of the most awesome cleaning power that we have ever unleashed. The vinegar functions as a natural disinfectant and the soap penetrates all of the built-up mildew and grime that keeps a shower from looking its best.
Once you are done with the scrub brush, all you need to do is make sure that the shower is thoroughly rinsed. If you don’t take the time to do that, the shower will be left dangerously slippery.
