2020 was a very challenging year. 2021 is already looking a bit better, though. If you ask us why, we have just three words to say to you: air-fried Oreos.
People on TikTok are showcasing their treats and this is one of our favorites. It’s a great way to satisfy your sweet tooth!
While the classic version of deep-fried Oreos tends to be much messier, this version is much cleaner. You don’t have to worry about any hot oil or pancake batter here. All it takes is a few minutes of your time and you are good to go.
You can use Crescent roll dough instead of pancake batter which makes it that much simpler.
All you have to do is unroll a sheet of your crescent dough and make sure it is separated at the perforation points.
Take one Oreo and place it on each triangular section of dough. The cookie must be wrapped until it has been completely covered up.
Take the Oreos that are all wrapped in dough and place them in the air fryer. You’ll need to keep them in the air fryer for about 5 to 7 minutes on 325 degrees. Temperatures have varied in the TikTok videos that we have seen, so some air fryers may need to be set on 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Once the Oreos have been removed, this is your chance to add toppings, like Chocolate syrup, whipped cream, powdered sugar, or sweetened condensed milk.
