Since the COVID-19 pandemic is creating more work-at-home jobs and many are stuck in self-isolation, everyone is spending more time on social media. People are making their own TikTok videos and unearthing old movies and albums to talk about. But, there’s one trend that’s really taken the stage and that is whipped coffee, also known as Dalgona coffee. Everyone and their mothers are making videos about Dalgona coffee and it looks amazing!
These beverages are incredibly easy to make, only requiring milk, sugar, water, and instant coffee. But, what about those who want to try this amazing frothed beverage but without the coffee?
Thankfully, we’ve got you covered! Whipped strawberry milk provides a viable alternative and it is even easier to make than Dalgona coffee. Four tablespoons of whipped cream and a tablespoon of strawberry Nesquik are the only ingredients that you need (other than the milk, of course). In order to get the best possible results, mix them together until your arm starts to get sore and pour them over the milk once you’re done. Pro tip: use an electric mixer to avoid the sore arm part.
The beverage can be served hot or cold. You are not going to need to add any sugar because Nesquik is already quite sweet, and as soon as the ingredients have been whipped into shape, you are ready to roll.
Are you looking for treats that you can make for your little ones while they are home during the quarantine period? This whipped strawberry milk may be the perfect option!
Even if you are not into the strawberry flavored beverages, you can swap this recipe out with ease. All you need to do is grab half a tablespoon of cocoa powder or matcha powder and some sugar. The process is the same. Whip it into fluff and pour it over your milk.
Have you tried any of these non-coffee whipped beverages? What did you think?
