Cool, refreshing, and with just the right amount of zippiness, lemonade has been a staple for many hot, sunny days. Sure, we’ve all heard of frozen lemonade, but what about creamy lemonade? A little while back, TikTok picked up on this drink and created a viral trend a while ago, but this concoction isn’t new. Stateside, we think of condensed milk and citrus as the ingredients to a holiday pie, not a drink, but this duo is a drink in other parts of the world! Vietnam mixes the juice with condensed milk, yet in Brazil, the whole lemon gets shoved into the blender. YouTuber acooknamedMatt shows that big flavor doesn’t have to take a lot of time!

Creamy lemonade is barely a recipe, it’s that simple! After washing the outside of the lemons, cut them into wedges and put them in a blender.

Add water and then blitz the two ingredients on high speed for a few minutes. It will turn a gorgeous bright yellow color. Once blended, strain the mixture. This process will remove the pulp, pitch, and inedible parts of the rind.

Now that the lemon-water mixture is all smoothed out, you add in ice and a can of sweetened condensed milk. Turn the blender on high and let it go for a few minutes to thoroughly combine everything.

You’re left with a creamy, silky beverage that’s like drinking a creamy lemon pie. The drink is thick without being heavy and refreshing without being bitingly cold.
