For some, the idea of cracking jokes about the pandemic may be a “too soon!” type of proposition, but for comedian Julie Nolke, it was just the thing to get her through.

She made a hilarious video where the April 2021 version of herself visits her pre-pandemic January 2020 version of herself.

Back in January 2020, many of us were getting ready to host a Super Bowl party and we had no idea that it would be the last gathering that we would have for the indefinite future. If we had known then what we know now, we are not sure what we would do.

As for the current Julie? She was having a tough time not revealing the truth to the past Julie. When she realized that she was allowing her cover to be blown, she came up with a hilarious idea. She claimed that it was the plot of a new movie that is coming out.

According to her, the movie will star Matt Damon and Queen Latifah. We are not going to lie to you, if we had heard about this hypothetical movie at the start of last year….we probably would have been happy to go and see it. Now, we are hoping that Hollywood gives us a lengthy break from all content related to COVID-19.

“How about the fact that there’s a pandemic, and then there’s George Floyd, and then there’s more pandemic, and then just when you think that there’s a light at the end of the tunnel with the vaccine, a new variant comes along that’s 50% more infectious, and you can’t get the vaccine out fast enough, and so more and more people are getting sick, and then on top of that, a bunch of crazy people storm the US Capitol, and now there’s a mental health crisis, and people are anxious and depressed ….that’s just the plot of a new movie, of a new movie that’s coming out,” said Julie.
