Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

Since we cannot head to our favorite takeout spots as often as we would like, we are forced to make do in other ways. Thankfully, many of our favorite restaurants are in the process of offering up their recipes to the general public and Chick-Fil-A is chief among them. CFA is starting a series that is dedicated to making your kitchen a brighter place.

If you would like to spice up your takeout order or meal from scratch, you can watch Chick-Fil-A’s new series, “Nightly Nuggets.” A new episode will air 6 days per week, and, as you may have expected, they are going to be taking Sundays off. We are glad to see that some things do not change. The chain is going to be posting the series on their Pinterest, Facebook, and Instagram pages.

Welcome to Nightly Nuggets! A new series from Chick-fil-A to spice up your daily dinner routine. We know that these times are challenging while we’re all at home. So we thought we’d share some creative ways to change up your dinner routine with some of our favorite Chick-fil-A items. From our kitchens to yours, let’s come together around this debut recipe from our culinary team featuring Stuart Tracy – Chicken Strip Taquitos! Chicken Strip Taquitos Recipe Ingredients: 6 Chick-fil-A chicken strips (2-3ct orders) ¾ cup shredded cheese (any will do, but I used a blend of cheddar and jack) ¾ cup salsa of your choice ¾ cup refried beans 12 6" tortillas (flour or corn) Pan spray ¼ cup sour cream ¼ cup salsa Toppings of your choice – Shredded lettuce, lime wedge, avocado, more cheese, hot sauce, guacamole, etc. To make the filling: Carefully chop the chicken into ¼” slices. Mix with ¾ cup salsa and ¾ cup shredded cheese. To fill each tortilla: Working one at a time, spread about 1 tablespoon of refried beans on each tortilla to the inside edge. Fill each tortilla with about ¼ cup of filling. Spread the filling evenly in the middle of the tortilla. Pick up the edge of the tortilla nearest you, fold over the filling, and roll over to make the taquito shape. Repeat for the other 11 tortillas. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Place each taquito on a sheet pan that has been liberally sprayed with pay spray. Spray the bottom of another sheet pan, place it on top of the rolled taquitos, and bake for 20-25 minutes. While the taquitos bake, mix ¼ cup salsa and ¼ cup sour cream to make the accompanying sauce. Use this time to prepare any additional garnishes you may way want – shredded lettuce, rice, beans, guacamole, etc. Carefully remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before plating. When slightly cool, serve with sauce, and anything else you want!

The recipes they share are super simple and, for the most part, you should be able to find all of the ingredients that you need in your pantry at home. Milkshakes, chicken nuggets, and other Chick-Fil-A staples can be made in your own kitchen if you don’t feel like ordering takeout. The series began on April 6th, 2020 and will continue for 30 days, according to Chick-Fil-A.

The sesame nugget bowl looks delicious and we are also intrigued by the sweet and spicy grilled chicken lettuce wraps. Bang bang chicken is another shared secret, and if you are in need of some dessert, be sure to check out the recipe for chocolate peanut butter milkshake pie. Grilled chicken orzo and the nugget sheet pan are also proving to be rather popular.

Would you like to take a moment to try out these recipes on your own? If so, you can watch the quick videos posted to their social media accounts and follow the easy instructions. Each of the clips features an official Chick-Fil-A employee, as restaurant operators, corporate staff, and culinary team members walk you through the process.
