Busch Is Giving Beer To Couples Whose Wedding Plans Were Changed Due To The Pandemic
There have been many couples who had to change their wedding dates due to the coronavirus pandemic. Busch Beer would like to help those couples who qualify win a year supply of their beer.
Obviously, it’s a difficult situation if you have to change your wedding plans, but Busch wants to show their appreciation by offering this “small consolation prize.”
Your wedding plans may be on ice for the time being, but we wanna give you a wedding gift of ice-cold Busch. FOR A YEAR.
Post a photo of yourselves and tell us how you’re planning to celebrate, along with #BuschWeddingGift and #Sweepstakes for your chance to win. pic.twitter.com/qkgVXvCsZa

The brand tweeted about the contest, saying: “Your wedding plans may be on ice for the time being, but we wanna give you a wedding gift of ice-cold Busch. FOR A YEAR.” Couples will have to post a picture of themselves to apply and use the caption to explain how they will be celebrating. They will also need to use the hashtags, #Sweepstakes and #BuschWeddingGift.
250 couples from those who apply will be selected to receive enough Bush beer to last them for an entire year. May 1, 2020, is the cutoff date for submissions.
Busch got the inspiration for this contest from the way that fans of their beer have included them in their wedding days in the past. Fox News reports that Daniel Blake, VP of Value Brands at Anheuser-Busch, said the company wanted to do something for those who love Busch beer and put their wedding plans on hold.
“Wedding season is approaching and we’ve seen many stories of couples having to adjust and cancel their plans. Busch still wanted to offer these couples a chance for a wedding gift and a reason to celebrate their love regardless of our unprecedented situation,” he said.
