Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you think about waffles? For some people, it is the ultimate breakfast food and there is nothing like a stack of waffles with butter and syrup or whatever type of toppings you enjoy. For others, it is a dinner treat, and chicken waffles are popular in many parts of the world.

At times, you may just want to flex your creative muscles and make a waffle that is unlike any other. If you have a waffle iron, you can then make waffle brownies and I’m sure your entire family will be thanking you for a long time. They will also be asking you to do it again!

The process of making Brownie waffles is a lot easier than you think. All you need is your waffle iron, some Brownie mix, and an extra egg. The extra egg helps to make the brownies a little more fluffy and appropriate for the waffle iron.

Another important thing to do is to use cooking spray on the inside of the waffle maker so the brownies are not going to be sticky. They will be appropriately sticky, but they are not going to stick to the iron and ruin the experience.

So what can you expect when you make brownie waffles? You can expect squeals of delight from the entire family and a treat that you will go back to time and time again. Brownies are delicious in the first place but the little pockets allow you to add something extra special to the mix.
