TikTok has an upcoming Ratatouille musical. It seems that there is no escaping it if you’re a big Disney fan as it will essentially take over your “For You” page. The internet musical seems to have become quite a big hit after TikTok user, Emily Jacobsen, came up with a video of herself singing a song about the beloved rat Remy from the animated film, Ratatouille.

Since Emily’s initial diddly, the social media platform has erupted with people making their own videos of the song as well as making accompanying songs of their own – all in the style of Broadway. That is how Ratatouille The Musical came to become a major hit on TikTok. Based on the hashtag, the Ratatouille Musical content has gained more than 18.8 million views.

What is even more entertaining is that many of these people have put in a lot of effort into their songs, costumes, choreography, and set designs. There was even someone who came up with fan fiction about the musical. It’s really gaining popularity!

It was that amount of attention that got the Broadway production company, Seaview, to want to get involved. According to Deadline.com, Seaview made the announcement that it would be getting involved in hosting a digital event of the musical.

There are already tickets on sale for the event. All the money raised will be going to the benefit of the Actors Fund. The tickets are only $5 each – a pretty good bargain for the theatre! Have you watched any of the Disney-inspired videos on TikTok? Let us know!
