When you look at everything in the world around us, there is always something interesting to see. Perhaps one of the more interesting things that we can look at, however, is something that really can’t be easily deciphered.
That is the case with an optical illusion. These come in many different forms and in some cases, it is thought to be a matter of the brain not being able to fully understand what the eyes are seeing.
Perhaps that is the case in the following image of a husband holding his wife up in the air. It looks like a very happy moment, as the two of them are just getting married but then you start to notice something unusual.
When you look at the picture, you will notice that it appears as if the bride’s legs are over the husband’s shoulders. Those legs are not exactly in proportion with where they should be, and suddenly, you are wondering what you are actually seeing.
This may take some time to figure out, but what you are seeing is actually the bride in front of the groom, as the groom’s jacket is the same color and it blends in with the dress. In other words, you are not looking at her legs, you are looking at his arms.
This is one of those optical illusions that has caused a considerable amount of questions. It even was posted on social media and before long, people were arguing and debating over what they were seeing. In the picture below, you can see it’s really the man’s arm and not the bride’s legs:
Many agree that it was a beautiful picture and that the bride and groom looked happy but it was also one of those pictures that may not be the snapshot that appears on the mantle. It might just be one that is pulled out on occasion as a topic of conversation.
