It’s just been released that Kroger is recalling four of its seasonings from grocery stores after a garlic powder sample from a South Carolina store tested positive for Salmonella in a Food and Drug Administration test. Items with the following UPC numbers have been recalled: 1111070025, 1111070034, 1111070039, and 1111070041.
Although there are no reported illnesses as of yet, Kroger’s Ground Cinnamon, Garlic Powder, Coarse Ground Black Pepper and Bac’n Buds have all been pulled from shelves in a recall that covers 31 states.
Kroger is encouraging people to not use the aforementioned spices and to bring them to any Kroger retailer to be refunded or replaced. For more information, check out this site, or call 1-800-576-4377.
