Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

I think that pizza is at the top of the list for many people when it comes to favorite foods. After all, there are so many delicious things about a pizza, what’s not to love?

We also live in a world where people tend to share a lot of recipes on social media. We’ve seen our fair share of unusual meals, but this one takes the cake.

It is known as the Giant Sicilian and it is not only huge, it is able to be delivered right to your door. It comes from the Big Mama’s & Papa’s Pizzeria in Southern California. The pizza is 20 ft.², or 4.5 x 4.5 feet.

I would challenge anyone to try and eat the entire Giant Sicilian without any help, but I’m sure that there are some people who have tried. Generally speaking, you can feed up to 70 people with this pizza, provided they aren’t all super-hungry.

Inside of the pizza, you will find 20 pounds of pizza dough, 5 pounds of cheese and it is cut into 200 square slices. In other words, you can have 50 of your closest friends over for a party and they will each get four slices of delicious pizza.

Now we get to the price. For a plain cheese pizza, you will pay $299.99. If you want any additional toppings, they are $20 each. It is worth the extra money for the toppings, however, considering the fact that they add 3 pounds of pepperoni onto the pie!

If you want extra cheese, it will set you back $34.99. You can always buy a bucket of ranch or blue cheese for dipping.

The Giant Sicilian can be delivered to your home but it is only delivered in a very limited area. After all, it is a huge pizza to haul around, and it has to be strapped to the top of the vehicle for delivery. Just make sure you check on the website ahead of time to see if it can be delivered to you.

If you do plan on ordering one of these giant pizzas, be sure you give the shop 24 hours notice. They just can’t throw one of these things together at the last minute and have it over to your house.

Not in the mood for a giant pizza? They have plenty of other options available. You can try their Mexican pizza, with pepperoni, jalapeno peppers, red onions, red peppers, and meatballs for starters. You might even appreciate the Godfather pizza, with plenty of chicken, mushrooms, basil, and sun-dried tomatoes.

Now I’m hungry!
