I love all the lights, food, and decorations that come with the greatest holiday of the year, Christmas. But one town takes things to the next level.

The entire town of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania transforms into a Christmas winter wonderland that we definitely think is worth visiting.

All the magic happens at the end of November and each day has a ton of different events from horse-drawn carriage rides to fireworks displays. One of the most popular events is the Christmas Huts on Main, where local artisans and businesses set up shop to sell Christmas-themed items.

“Bethlehem, Pennsylvania is quintessential holiday cheer,” Alicia Quinn, the vice president of marketing and strategic alliances for Discover Lehigh Valley, told Travel + Leisure. “Simply stroll the twinkling lights on Main Street, tour the historic buildings decorated with candles, and shop endless handmade collectibles to capture a traditional holiday memory.”

For the first time ever, the town is holding the “Clash of the Carols” which will be an acapella choir competition that will be television-worth. They also have a giant 81-foot-tall steel star that sits above a Christmas market.

And if that isn’t enough, there’s a live Advent calendar that counts down the days to Christmas starting on December 1.
