After two positive test results for E. coli on Tuesday, June 5th, Creation Gardens Inc. is recalling almost 23,000 lbs. of ground beef and beef primal cut products. The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety Inspection Service discovered the contamination in products bearing the establishment number “EST. 7914,” inside the USDA mark of inspection on the packaging, and traced it back to Creation Gardens Inc. These products were produced on May 31st, June 1st and June 2nd, and people are strongly advised not to consume them, but to throw them away or return them to the place of purchase.

For more information regarding the affected products, you can visit the USDA Food Safety And Inspection Service or call the toll-free USDA Meat and Poultry Hotline (1-888-6746854) with questions.
