Living on the streets is tough for any animal, and some learn quickly to distrust humans. It could be because they were never socialized when they were young, or perhaps they had a bad encounter with a cruel person or people.
It’s unfortunate, because animals that are friendly to humans may have an easier time finding a rescuer – and a forever home.
One stray cat living in Ukraine seemed to realize this, and he decided to use his charm and good looks to find a home.
The sweet stray was basking in the sun in a well-trafficked area looking adorable as ever. He was just waiting for the perfect time to make a friend, but no one seemed to pay him any attention.
Finally, the right person came along. As the founder of Love Furry Friends Rescue, the woman couldn’t walk by a stray animal without stopping to say hello at the least.
As she bent down to pet the cat, he pulled out all the stops to show her how sweet and loving he was. He even gave her a high-five!
The kind stranger couldn’t leave him on the streets since it was clear he wanted more in life. So, she took him home! After getting a bath and a veterinary examination, he found his place in a warm, cozy home. He even has his own bed!
