If you’ve ever been surprised by a stay at an Airbnb, you are not alone. Those surprises can come in many different forms, including some that are good and others that are not so good.

Ashtyn Barbare is a TikTok user who posted a viral video that shows what happens when a surprise does not necessarily go in your direction. When she and her husband booked an Airbnb, they had no idea they would be staying in a pizza restaurant while they were on tour.

She posted the clip, and it is really only one of the unusual videos we’ve seen about Airbnb experiences lately. It’s definitely one that is worthy of mention, and an experience that she refers to as “horrible.”

She posted a video, expressing how the host had used misleading photos and they didn’t discover that they were staying in a pizza restaurant until after they had checked in.

It seems as if it was more than just being stuck in a pizza restaurant, which could have its good sides if you looked at the glass as being half-full. In actuality, they were stuck in a small room with five beds that were all pushed together and they had no privacy during their stay.

There was even a glass door in the room and the owner kept looking at them.

As it turns out, however, they were able to do something epic because when they got back from the show everything was closed so they made pizzas.

One time on tour in The Netherlands we stayed two nights in a functioning pizza restaurant. They had taken misleading pictures for airbnb showing different spaces in a house, when in reality all 5 beds were squished into the same room in the back of a public restaurant. Also, our room had a glass door and the owner kept looking at us. Horrible experience. #pizzahouse #misleading #airbnbexperience #restuarant #2019 #falseadvertising
